In 2022, lifelong friends Nico Rhodes and Patrick Courtin were taken aback by the stark realization that the piano had fallen out of favour. Determined to restore its luster and reclaim its title as the ultimate instrument, they embarked on an exhilarating journey. Drawing inspiration from the masterpieces of legendary composers, songwriters, and performers over the last three centuries, they crafted a mesmerizing show that spans the spectrum from classical piano masterpieces to vibrant boogie-woogie, romantic ballads, and epic 80s synth battles in Piano Heist: Keys are the Champions!

Legendary Blues and Boogie-Woogie Piano Master Kenny “Blues Boss” Wayne became one of the beacons of the Canadian blues scene a couple of decades ago. His musical journey began with him soaking up the sounds of gospel music, as his dad was a preacher. From there it was into jazz and latin music, before the doors opened to R&B and soul. Living in Los Angeles, long before he would move to Canada, Wayne continued to wade into a variety of sub-genres including swing, bebop, standards and dance music. This award winning international piano blues and boogie-woogie artist is on Stony Plain records.

Emerging singer/songwriter Ty Koch is the type of artist who can seamlessly blend genres; crooner, blues, musical theatre, classical, and every vintage rock song you can think of. His repertoire includes over 50 covers, and a dozen originals.
